Bald spot
have you ever been so freaking frustrated that you actually pulled your hair out? i am almost there! i have this beautiful new computer and can't get it functioning properly!!!! and my old computer has a death grip on my files and refuses to burn them onto disk. i swear i think it KNOWS its being replaced and is just getting even. ugh!

you have to sweet talk the old machine... can you network them and just transfer that way? do you have wireless connection? can't you do that?

thanks tami, after uninstalling and re-installing it 4 times...it finally let me burn a couple of cd's before getting pissy and crashing again. and the old computer isn't part of the new network so, no i can't transfer that way unfortunately. i'm not bald yet, but it was a close one! :)
oooh, i wish i were able to help! but pcs are a mystery to me... you know what they say: once you go mac, you never go back!
gotcha! i originally had a mac back in 93 and i switched to pc! but i agree macs are great :)
