Day 146: spring is officially here. You can hardly see the horses for all the lovely green leaves.

 day 142: logan and his beautiful date for grad. the rain couldn't dampen the festivities!

 day 143: the plants are the only ones enjoying the persistent rain :)

 day 144: saturday mornings are made for fresh baked chocolate croissants and coffee!

day 145: two for today. this was the post-game picnic with Finn's team and the weather was great!

and second, ian took this gorgeous sky on the way to soccer.

BAW #19: this is a simpler brooch from my distressed granulation series.  the pin attachments are tie tacks, one in each corner horizontally.  so it could be worn as a brooch in either direction or even to clasp two sides of a sweater together.

 day 131: had a great time at BBQ with Marc et al.  here he is devouring his new creation...hot dog with mustard and hickory sticks!

day 132: happy mother's day!

Day 126: now THAT is a Calgary sky!

BAW #18: bit of a departure on this one.  used a slice of raw wood and just a few dots with two distressed granulation accents.  think i'll have to explore this series a bit more.  really like that i can still see the grain of the wood etc.  choosing colors for the raw wood vs. my usual black wood was also a challenge.  cheers!

 day 119:  finn got a hold of my phone and took this of himself in the car.  that kid cracks me up!

 day 120: bronwyn's first game on the big artificial turf field and underneath the lights!

too bad it was only 2 degrees Celcius, cold!!!!

 day 121: home with sick child leads to photos of the t.v. screen, remote and coffee mug :)

day 122: ian took this one.  he's in beautiful Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia today.
